PURPOSE: To provide a smooth turning by providing an improvement in the position of lateral link mounted on a support for the rotation of a rear wheel and the distance for mounting the link on the support, and increasing the roll steering amount of the rear wheel upon the turning operation more than the compliance steering amount.

CONSTITUTION: On both ends of an arm part arranged below a knuckle serving as a support for rotation and in a vertical relation thereto, one end of each lateral link 8, 9 is mounted to turn freely while the other end of each link 8, 9 is mounted to turn freely on each shaft 12, 12' fixed to a vehicle body B while the rear link 8 is set at a higher position than the form link 9. The distance on one side of each link 8, 9 to the mounting position on the knuckle 1 is set such that of the fore link 9 is made larger than the rear link 8 with respect to the center of the grounding face of rear wheel. With the arrangement, the roll stering amount of rear wheel upon the turning operation of a vehicle is made larger than the compliance steering amount to assure a smooth turning.
