Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear-view mirror mounting device for useful vehicles, particularly for buses, suited to a crescent mirror in terms of stability, ease of installation, and molding characteristic.
SOLUTION: This rear-view mirror mounting device includes a support arm 2 having a carrying tube structure 4 that serves as a core element attachable to a vehicle body 3; a main mirror 15 which is equipped with its own housings 18, 19 secured to the free end 14 of the tube structure 4 and which preferably has integrally power-adjustable mirror glass 17; and a molded part 20 covering the tube structure 4 and wrapping the tube structure 4 between the main mirror 15 and an end nearer to the vehicle in order to advantageously hold auxiliary mirrors 21, 22.
