To maintain stable and suitable receiving characteristics regardless of a ratio between the carrier wave power and noise power of a received signal and further to maintain stable and suitable receiving characteristics, by setting the operating condition of a digital demodulating part while following up a fluctuation, even in the state where the ratio between the carrier wave power and noise power of the received signal fluctuates.
This device is provided with a decision circuit 104 having a function for estimating the ratio between the carrier wave power and the noise power and outputting a signal corresponding to this ratio when performing the digital demodulation of a digital broadcasting signal received in a digital modulated signal processing system 10. In a microcontroller 31 for control, this signal corresponding to the ratio of the carrier wave power and the noise power is received and a digital demodulating part 102 is controlled into optimal state corresponding to the ratio between the carrier wave power and noise power of the received signal.
