To increase the safety of program selection during a drive by selecting some of programs in order and receiving each for a prescribed time when 1st key operation is done, and receiving a program being currently received continuously thereafter when 2nd key operation is done during the reception.
To a microcomputer 32, a variety of operation keys 33 such as a menu key and a select key are connected as an input means and an LCD: 34 is connected as a display element. When the key corresponding to a target program among the operation keys 33 is operated, a video decoder circuit 16 selects a program through the microcomputer 32 and the audio signal of the program is supplied to a speaker 21, so that the program can be listened to. Information regarding the selected program is displayed on the LCD: 34. Consequently, a desired program can easily be selected and received through less-key operation. Further, the need to look at the LCD: 34 at the selection is eliminated, so the safety is high even when the program is selected and listened to over a drive.
