Abstract:
To prevent an operation error of a DFE in a no-signal period and realize reliable data communications.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, a receiver executes decision feedback-type equalization processing for input data while adaptively updating at least one tap coefficient. The receiver includes first memory means for cyclically holding the updated tap coefficient, and second memory means for holding, with a delay of one cycle, the tap coefficient stored in the first memory means. The tap coefficient held in the second memory means is used for the equalization processing in a no-signal period in which no input data exist.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
