To provide a receiver which can present dynamically so that a plurality link destinations can simply be selected upon reproducing a moving picture, a reception system and a communication method.
The receiver has: a communicator which is linked with an external device according to an operating signal, for receiving moving picture information and link information; an updater for updating the link information received by the communicator to the latest link information repeatedly at a given timing; a compositor for producing screen information which displays the moving picture information and the latest link information on one screen; and a controller which alters the link destination of the communicator to a specified link destination if the operating signal specifying a certain link destination in the link information is received.
