Abstract:
The receiver has a symbol arranger to collect signals from a receiver antenna that receives signals from antennae (240,242,244). A channel estimator estimates three channel gains from the transmitter antennae to the receiver antenna. Decoders compute metrics for possible pairs of symbols using the received signals and the channel gains. A parallel-to-serial converter arranges the four symbols detected by the decoders.
