Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize the use of a receiver for radio broadcast which has a form of a tape cassette when it is loaded to an optional cassette tape recorder, by converting the received signal into the intensity of a magnetic field and then reproducing it through a cassette tape recorder. CONSTITUTION:A receiver has almost the same external form as a tape cassette in combination of the upper and lower cases 1 and 2. The holes 3 and 4 through which the tape revolution driving shafts are pierced are provided to the cases 1 and 2. An erasing head inserting window 5, a reproducing head inserting window 6 and a pinch roller inserting window 7 are drilled at the front side of the tape cassette. A signal received circuit 16 is incorporated into the cases 1 and 2 to be used as an ordinary radio receiving circuit. The received signal is applied to a magnetic field converting means 8 consisting of a magnetic head, etc. via an equalizer stage 17. The means 8 is loaded into a cassette tape storing part and is set opposite to a reproducing head 18 incorporated to a cassette tape recorder. The revolution driving force of the tape recorder is used for the power supply of the circuit 16. The noise can be eliminated while the head 18 is working.
