Title:
RECEIVERS AND METHODS FOR MULTI-MODE NAVIGATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014228537
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the positioning accuracy in conventional receivers which performs positioning or navigation by receiving satellite signals from only one satellite navigation system.SOLUTION: A receiver for a multi-mode navigation system includes a base band unit and a calculation unit. The base band unit is configured for allocating resources to positioning satellites in each of one or more navigation systems, and tracking the positioning satellites with the resources to obtain satellite information of each of the positioning satellites. The satellite information includes one or more of pseudo-ranges, position coordinates, velocity information and frequency information of the positioning satellites. The calculation unit is configured for evaluating the positioning satellites in each navigation system from the satellite information received, and determining a positioning parameter of the receiver. The determination of the positioning parameter includes calculating a position and a velocity of the receiver on the basis of the satellite information with a least square algorithm.
