To provide a vehicular receiving device capable of self-diagnosis.
A receiving device 13 is provided with an RF receiving circuit 14, a control circuit 15, a switch 16, a noise generating circuit 17 and an antenna 18. In the switch 16, a contact CP1 and a contact CP2 are normally connected, so that a transmit signal from a transmitting device 12 is received by the RF receiving circuit 14 through the antenna 18. In the case of failing to operate the receiving device 13 by the transmitting device 12 at the time of checking function, the switch 16 is put in the connected state of the contact CP1 and a contact CP3, and white noise is outputted from the noise generating circuit 17. An input signal based on this white noise is outputted from the RF receiving circuit 14, and the control circuit 15 compares this input signal with a judgment signal to judge whether the RF receiving circuit 14 is in normal action.
