Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction of data transmission amount by allowing to act as a pilot symbol as well as data transmission, related to a digital modulation method used for radio communication and a radio communication system using it.
SOLUTION: A PSK modulation method is periodically inserted in a multi- value modulation method of at least eight values. A data is transmitted in the PSK modulation method, while, on a demodulation side, the frequency offset amount and amplitude distortion amount between a transmitting device and a receiving device are estimated by a frequency offset amount estimating part 26 and an amplitude distortion amount estimating part 25, respectively. Thus, compared with a method in which a known data is taken as a pilot symbol, reduction can be suppressed in the data transmission amount.
