Abstract:

PURPOSE: To synthesize components of delay waves without broad band processing with respect to frequencies by calculating a complex number transfer function of a radio wave propagation path, calculating a delay wave equalizing coefficient based thereupon and reproducing a transmission data.

CONSTITUTION: The frequency characteristic T(ω) is estimated by a propagation characteristic estimation circuit 8 from outputs I(t), Q(t) of an automatic gain adjustment amplifier 1. A complex number transfer function D(ω) is calculated by a delay wave synthesis coefficient calculation circuit 9 based on the T(ω). A delay wave equalization coefficient calculation circuit 10 calculates a complex number transfer function E(ω) based on the synthesis characteristic RD(ω) of the T(ω) and D(ω). A circuit having a complex number transfer function represented by a product of D(ω) and E(ω) is realized by a signal processing circuit 11. Thus, the effect of the diversity and waveform equalization is realized simultaneously.
