PURPOSE: To retrieve a data base after checking a caller prior to a response by providing this reception sevice device with a caller recognizing part for recognizing a caller while referring to caller recognizing information based on a received direct incoming number.
CONSTITUTION: The reception service device for a private branch exchange consists of a number recognizing part 101 for recognizing a terminated direct incoming number, the caller recognizing part 102 for recognizing a caller based on the direct incoming number and an area 103 for storing personal information corresponding to each number and executes reception service of an incoming from an analog subscriber's line. A direct incoming number is previously allocated to each individual caller and stored as caller recognizing information and the caller recognizing part 102 recognizes the caller while referring to the caller recognizing information based on the received direct incoming number. When a call from the caller to which the direct incoming number is allocated is terminated to the exchange, the caller recognizing information corresonding to the direct incoming number is retrieved, so that the caller can be recognized prior to a response.
