PURPOSE: To properly set the charging current and the charging time according to operator's need by constituting the system so that information communication between an electronic apparatus main body and a charger is enabled.

CONSTITUTION: A system is so constituted that information can be communicated between an electronic apparatus main body 1 and a charger 10; and at the time of charging, a control part 7 of the main body 1 generates control information for control of the start and the end of charging of a battery 4 and the charging current in accordance with prescribed conditions such as the capacity of the battery detected by a voltage detecting circuit 7 and the operator's desired charging time inputted from an input/output part 8 and transmits this control information to a control part 13 of the charger 10. The control part 13 controls the start and the end of charging and the charging current through a charging current changing circuit 12 in accordance with transmitted control information.
