To provide a rechargeable vacuum cleaner which can sweep out dust hidden at the foot of pile of a face to be cleaned such as a carpet by rotation of a rotary brush even by low suction power and float up dust from the surface to be cleaned so as to improve cleaning performance.
This rechargeable vacuum cleaner is equipped with the main body 20 with an electric blower (not shown in Figs) and a rechargeable battery (not shown in Figs), a suction tool 22 with a rotary brush 37 to sweep up dust on a surface to be cleaned, a hose 23 to connect the main body 20 and the suction tool 22, and an extension pipe 24. A dust collecting chamber 31 is provided somewhere between the suction tool 22 and the main body 20. A cyclone system to generate vortex to separate dust and suction air is disposed in the dust collecting chamber 31. Because the cleaner is free from blocking by dust unlike a rechargeable vacuum cleaner with a dust collecting bag, dust collecting performance of the rechargeable vacuum cleaner with limited battery capacity to suck dust only by suction power can be improved.
