Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve volume efficiency by making the volume of a space formed around the periphery of a projection on a piston approx. zero. SOLUTION: A projection 15 which is approached into an intake valve relief hole 3b when a piston 12 reaches a top dead center is provided on the top surface of the piston 12, and an elastic body 40 is installed on the outer circumferential surface of the projection 15 on the piston 12. By this, when the piston 12 reaches the top dead center, the projection 15 on the piston 12 is approached into the intake valve part relief hole 3b, and the outer circumferential surface of the elastic body 40 is brought in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the intake valve part relief hole 3b.
