Title:
RECIPROCATING ELECTROLYTIC COMPLEX POLISHER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS54128096
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a reciprocating electrolytic complex polisher for performing in combination the anode dissolution of polishing work and the polish for the scrape-off of the inactivated coat produced on the surface of said polishing work by the abrasives fitted on a tool electrode.

CONSTITUTION: The underside of abrasives 25 are contacted with the surface of the polishing work connected to the anode of a power source for electrolysis. When a piston 2 is actuated with a pressure fluid supply valve 10 opened, said abrasives 25 are reciprocated in arrow a, b directions by the reciprocation of said piston 2 through the medium of a pinion gear 12 and racks 13, 18. When electrolyte is suppied between said tool electrode 24 and the surface of said polishing work, the anode dissolution through the electrolysis of said polishing work and the scrape-off of inactivated oxidized coat are performed in combination. Thus, mirror surface sinish can be obtained.
