PURPOSE: To reduce the redundancy of processings performed in respective computer systems by storing and processing record lock information by a specific computer system.

CONSTITUTION: A record lock information storage means 14 stores all the record lock information for the domains of the computer systems 3-6. A record lock information transmission/reception means 11 receives a record lock request and sends back the result, a record lock discrimination means 12 discriminates the propriety of the setting of record lock by referring to the record lock information storage means 14 and a record lock information update means 13 updates the record lock information of the record lock information storage means 14. The record lock information fault evading means 15 of first and second record lock information management systems 1 and 2 whose roles can be mutually altered transmit/receive the record lock information mutually at the time of updating of the record lock information by the record lock information update means 13.
