An inkjet printer 1 has a substantially U-shaped paper transport path for feeding a paper P from a paper cassette 11 toward the lower side of the apparatus and for transporting the paper toward the upper side of the apparatus by reversing the feeding direction using the reversal path unit formed by a feed roller 17. Accordingly, the paper delivery direction using the delivery device is directed toward the paper cassette 11, and thereby the delivered paper is delivered while slidably contacting with a guide surface arranged in the paper cassette 11.
