To provide a recording apparatus configured to receive a conveyance medium having high flexibility such as plain paper, and also guide a conveyance medium having low flexibility such as a disk tray toward a conveyance path, and furthermore, including a displaceable tray for receiving the medium in which a detecting means for detecting that the conveyance medium has been set is safely provided.
A paper ejection receiving tray 8 includes a tray guide surface 8h for guiding a disk tray 60. A disk tray detecting means 55 for detecting the disk tray 60 is composed of: a detection lever 56 provided on the paper ejection receiving tray 8; and a detector body 57 and a detecting element 58 provided on an apparatus body 2 side. When the paper ejection receiving tray 8 is located in a position where the detection lever 56 can be detected by the detector body 57 and the detecting element 58 (that is, a storage position), there is formed a state that the disk tray detecting means 55 is constituted.
