PURPOSE: To provide a recording apparatus capable of obtaining an image with excellent quality by the use of liquid as a contact member having the property of being increased in its viscosity through heating, improving the quantity of ink adhesion to a latent image formation part, and decreasing greasing.
CONSTITUTION: The recording apparatus is constituted of a recording body 1 being an endless belt 1 supported by rollers 2,2, a thermal head 3 disposed within the recording body 1, latent image formation means 6 that operates to supply a contact member 5 onto the recording body, developing means 9 that acts to feed a recording agent 8 on the formed latent image and visualize the latent image, transfer means 11 that serves to transfer image on a recording paper 10, a cleaner 12 for removing the contact member from the recording body, and 2 heater 13 that initializes the latent image formed on the recording body.
