Title:
RECORDING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1199641
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a head gap precisely and to do good transfer of a recording material by a method in which clearance regulating means are installed in both recording head side fringe parts, the clearance between a recording body and a recording head is regulated, an air current shut-off means is installed near a recording material fly part to shut off an air current which tries to pass through the clearance. SOLUTION: A wheel 35 as a clearance regulating means is shaft-attached at a position other than a printing area in both sides of a head base 2 near the gasification part center C of a printer head 1 to prevent the contact between the end part 2a of the head base 2 and a recording sheet 12, so that head operation is stabilized and the recording sheet is not hurt. A hood 34 is installed over the entire direction of the end part 2a of the head base 2, and additionally a hood 38 which covers the outside of a wheel 35 is installed. In this way, in the scanning of the printer head 1 in the Y direction, an air current which tries to pass through the clearance between the head base end part 2a and the recording sheet 12 is shut off. Therefore, gasified dye flying from a gasification part is transferred easily without being affected by the current.
