Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve consumption memory efficiency in the case using a recording head wherein a plurality of recording elements for recording a plurality of colors are arranged so as to be offset in a predetermined direction.
CONSTITUTION: A host computer 300 offsets recording data of respective colors in a sub-scanning direction on the basis of the offset quantity in the sub-scanning direction of recording elements (M, C, Bk) of a plurality of colors based on a recording element (Y) and transmits the offset recording data to a recording apparatus 150.
