Abstract:
To widen the range of a roll width that can be dealt with and to improve workability in work for performing mounting on/removing from a recording device while supporting a roll by a carriage.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a roll supporting part for supporting a roll around which a sheet is wound by an end part in the width direction of the roll; and a guide part extending in the width direction, and for supporting the roll supporting part so as to move in the width direction. The roll supported by a carriage including a part to be positioned is mounted on the roll supporting part, and an image is recorded on the sheet supplied from the roll. It also includes a positioning part which determines the position of the part to be positioned in the crossing direction which crosses the width direction with respect to the roll supporting part, in a state where the carriage can move the roll in the width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
