Abstract:
To prevent a jam of a recording medium by properly controlling the transport of the recording medium after full cut of the recording medium by a cutter in a recording device.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: a transfer route for transferring a tube; a recording unit for performing recording processing on the tube transferred in the transfer route; a cutting unit for performing cutting processing on the tube which is provided in the downstream of the recording unit in the transfer direction of a recording medium; and a controller for controlling the transfer of the tube and the cutting processing by the cutting unit. The controller transfers a prescribed amount of the tube upstream of the cutting unit in the transfer route to the downstream side in the tube transfer direction, after full-cut processing of the tube by the cutting unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
