Abstract:
To achieve transport of a recording medium with high precision to perform high quality image recording.SOLUTION: In a recording device, a recording medium is nipped by a first roller and a second roller provided at the downstream side of the first roller with respect to its transport direction and the nipped recording medium is transported. The recording device controls the first and second rollers so that a command speed of the first roller becomes lower than that of the second roller until recording on the transported recording medium by the recording head is started and reaches a point near a rear end of a print length. Next, when the recording by the recording head reaches the point near the rear end of the print length, the command speed of the first roller is set so as to be higher than that of the second roller and then a cutter is controlled to cut the recording medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
