Abstract:
To solve a problem in which the quality of an edge of a recording result is deteriorated by misalignment between different recording materials.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a recording unit which may make records on a medium by using multiple types of recording materials; and a control unit which controls recording by the recording unit. When records are made on the medium according to recording data for making records at the same area of the medium with the multiple types of the recording materials, the control unit specifies a first recording material having a relatively high recording density at the same area and a second recording material having a recording density at the same area, which is lower than that of the first recording material, based on the recording data and makes the records so that a second area in which records are made by the second recording material corresponding to the same area becomes smaller than a first area in which records are made by the first recording material corresponding to the same area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
