PURPOSE: To take pleasure in viewing a photograph with a realistic effect by using a recording device and a reproducing device which have simple structure and are inexpensive by selecting and setting the kind of an effect sound prepared in advance and recording it in the case where various kinds of information are recorded on film when photographing by the use of the recording device for photographic information on the film.

CONSTITUTION: The kind of the sound related to surrounding circumstances when doing photography is selected out of plural kinds of information concerning the sound prepared in advance and set in an information setting means 11, and code information on the set sound is recorded on the film 6 by an information recording means 15. In the case of viewing the photograph by applying the film 6 to the reproducing device after developing the film 6, the effect sound is reproduced, based on the code information on the kind of the sound recorded on the film 6.
