PURPOSE: To perform the recording of a video film capable of easily confirming the light emission state of a recording light source corresponding to a printing degree test signal and to easily perform a printing degree test.
CONSTITUTION: By the CPU 41, the LED drive part 47s and 47p are controlled, the voltage of the LED driving signal is varied for varying the light quantity of the LED 48s and 48p, and the printing degree test signal and the display pattern for displaying the light quantity of the LED 48s and 48p are generated and supplied to the LED drive part 47s and 47p through the DMA part 44, the switch 45 and the serial-parallel converter 46. By the LED drive part 47s and 47p basing on the control of the CPU 41, the light quantity is varied by driving the LED 48s and 48p, the printing achievement test signal is recorded in the signal recording area 5 of the film 49, and the display pattern showing the light quantity of the LED 48s and 48p is recorded in the display recording area of the film 49.
