Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of preventing detection function from being reduced and a sheet fed prior to recording from being contaminated when ink mist adheres to a linear scale having the detection function and to a functional component such as a feeding roller being provided outside a wall portion and having feeding function.SOLUTION: There is provided a recording device comprising: a carriage being provided with a recording head injecting ink and reciprocating; a frame 30 serving as a support member having a support section 18 supporting a sheet transported at a position facing the recording head; and a wall portion for forming a space portion at an opposite side of the support section 18 to the carriage. The frame 30 is provided with hole portions 50 and 51 being opened at a carriage side and communicating with the space portion at both end portions of the support section 18 in a movement direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
