Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device being capable of holding a curved shape in a medium placing section while forming the curved shape to a medium and suppressing curl in the medium having been recorded in a face-down type printer using a line type recording head.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: a recording section 18 having a line head 48; a discharge section 23 discharging a medium P fed from the recording section 18; a first transportation path 28 being provided between the recording section 18 and the discharge section 23, reversing a recording surface of the medium P and feeding the medium P to the discharge section 23; a curving member being brought into contact with the medium P discharged and curving the medium P; a medium placing section 20 placing the medium P discharged from the discharge section 23; and an air blow section 31 blowing air toward the medium P placed on the medium placing section 20 from above a contact position applying feeding force to the medium P in the discharge section 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
