Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of suppressing deterioration of record quality, while reducing noise generated during recording.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: a head 21 including multiple wires 20, and performing recording onto a medium by hitting the medium with the wires; a carriage mounted with the head, and capable of moving in a main scan direction; and a transfer part for transferring the medium. The head comprises a first wire array 61 and a second wire array 62 in which the multiple wires are arranged at intervals. The first wire array and the second wire array are in parallel to each other, and extend obliquely with respect to a sub scan direction crossing the main scan direction. The respective wires constituting the first wire array and the second wire array are arranged to match each other at positions in the sub scan direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
