Abstract:
To provide a recording device that is able to perform appropriate ejection according to a destination stacker, a cylindrically rolled medium, the type of a medium, etc.SOLUTION: A recording device 1 includes: a recording unit 13 that performs recording on a recording medium that is a roll of long medium S; a support unit 14 disposed opposite the recording unit 13 and supporting the recording medium; a cutting unit 15 that forms a single cut medium S1 by cutting the long medium S, downstream of the support unit 14 in a conveying direction A of the recording medium; a guide member 30 that guides the recording medium, downstream of the cutting unit 15; a winding unit 18 that winds the long medium S, downstream of the guide member 30; and a detachable medium storage unit (a large capacity stacker 80) that stores single cut mediums S1, downstream of the guide member 30. The guide member 30 is displaceable to a first support position for supporting the recording medium conveyed to the large capacity stacker 80 and a second support position, higher than the first support position, for supporting the long medium S conveyed to the winding unit 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
