Abstract:
To provide a recording device having a mechanism capable of suppressing vibrations of a carriage.SOLUTION: A recording device includes conveying means for conveying sheet in a conveyance direction, a recording head which discharges liquid in opposition to the sheet conveyed by the conveying means and records an image, a carriage which mounts the recording head thereon and is moved in a scanning direction intersecting the conveying direction and a guide part which supports the carriage and guides movement of the carriage in the scanning direction. Therein, the guide part supports the carriage by means of a guide face which is inclined to the upper side as proceeding to the downstream side in the conveyance direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
