Abstract:
To provide a technique that enables a recording device, which can selectively switch recording of a cut sheet and recording of a continuous sheet, to perform an appropriate process for a conveyance disorder.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: a recording part that records an image on sheets; a first conveyance path through which a cut sheet which is the sheet is conveyed toward the recording part; a second conveyance path through which a continuous sheet which is the sheet is conveyed toward the recording part; and a common conveyance path through which the sheets are conveyed in a conveying direction from a merging point where the first conveyance path and the second conveyance path merge with each other to the recording part. When the sheet is not detected in the second conveyance path and the sheet is detected in the common conveyance path after a conveyance disorder of the sheet is sensed, the recording device executes an ejection operation of conveying the cut sheet through the first conveyance path toward the recording part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
