Abstract:
To suppress a posture of a carriage from becoming unstable with respect to a guide shaft because of manufacturing tolerance or the like.SOLUTION: A recording device 1 comprises: a sandwiched member 20 in contact with a first guide shaft 13 at a guide shaft-side contact surface 21 and arranged between a carriage 9 and the first guide shaft 13 in a second direction; and a cam member 30 in contact with a first curve surface 22 of the sandwiched member 20 and rotating with a first direction as a rotary axis 33 with respect to the carriage 9 while engaging with the carriage 9. The cam member 30 is configured to make a second curve surface 32 which slidably engages with the first curve surface 22 press the first curve surface 22 in the second direction, and to change a position of the carriage 9 with respect to the sandwiched member 20 in the second direction through change of a distance L in the second direction at a position where the second curve surface 32 with respect to the rotary axis 33 presses the first curve surface 22 accompanying rotation thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
