A recording data producing part 8 for producing recording data (log) on the basis of information of TS packets outputted from a packet isolating part 2, a data filter 4 and a data searching part 5 is installed in the recording equipment for digital broadcast. The log is constituted of, e.g. 4 byte characters from first to fourth. The log is produced to each of the TS packets which have passed the isolating part 2, and stored once in a register in the producing part 8. When contents of the log satisfy conditions which are previously determined, the producing part 8 outputs the log to a memory access part (control means) 6.
