Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07108766
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable perfect erasure by heating at uniform temp. by bringing a heating means wherein a rubbery sheet is laminated to the surface of a heating metal plate into contact with a recording medium having a recording part composed of a synthetic resin.

CONSTITUTION: A card 10 is produced by laminating an aluminized reflecting layer, a visible recording layer 3, a protective layer 4, a display printing surface 5 and a recording display window (recording part) 6 on a base material composed of polyethylene terephthalate. At first, this card 10 is introduced into the gap between a heating stamp. wherein a rubber sheet 14 is laminated to a heating plate 12 and an anvil 13 by a feed roll 11. Next, the recording area of the recording display window 6 is heated to a transparentizing temp. region T1 to transparentize (erasing) the entire surface of the recording area. Further, the card 10 is introduced into the gap between a partial heating means such as a thermal head 16 and a platen roll 17 by a feed roll 15 and, when a character is partially printed on the card 10 at temp. T2, only the heated part becomes cloudy to express a display image.
