Abstract:
To provide a recording method capable of switching storage modes and/or exchanging storage devices without initializing individual storage devices by a control means, and to provide a recording device using the recording method.
In the case of shifting from a serial storage mode for storing data in series in a plurality of storage devices 10 connected to the control means 1 to a parallel storage mode for storing the same data in parallel in these storage devices 10, the control means 1 stores the same data in the parallel storage mode without initializing all the storage devices 10.
