The recording paper reversal device of an image forming apparatus uses cut paper as recording paper and has function capable of forming an image on both surfaces of the recording paper. A paper discharge route and a paper supply route are allowed to communicate with each other to form paper re-feed routes 81, 82 and a recording paper reversal feed route 12 sending out recording paper 10 to the paper re-feed routes in the direction right-angled to a recording paper feed direction and reversing the recording paper by 180° while drawing a circular arc to receive the same is provided.
