Abstract:
To provide a recording and reproducing device to enable automatic repeat reproduction with high accuracy and to enable a user to repeatedly and easily select a place desired to be repeatedly watched.
Recording information including an absolute number to indicate a recording position in a tape is recorded in the tape or a memory, a position where repeat reproduction is desired is specified from the recording information displayed on a screen and the recording contents selected based on the absolute number of the specified position is repeatedly reproduced.
