To obtain a continuous printable recording sheet excellent in the balance of ink absorption, water resistance, image resolution and blocking resistance, and applicable to various types of printing, especially to printing with aqueous ink, especially suitable for ink jet printing or a pen plotter and excellent in print double feeding properties.
The recording sheet is provided, at least on one side of a basic material, with an ink receiving layer principally comprising modified polyvinyl acetate. At least the uppermost layer contains microparticles of mean grain size in the range of 10-30 μm in the recording sheet of multilayer structure comprising a basic material and at least one ink receiving layer principally comprising modified polyvinyl acetate provided at least on one side of the basic material.
