Title:
RECOVERING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR UNMANNED AIRCRAFT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07304498
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the recovery position accuracy and reduce the damage of an airframe by suspending a wire fixed to the airframe at one end and fitted with a hook at the other end from the airframe, and hooking the hook on a rope horizontally stretched at a prescribed height on the ground to recover the airframe.

CONSTITUTION: For the recovery of an unmanned aircraft 1, a command is given to a releasing device on the aircraft 1 from the ground, and one side having a hook 3 of a wire 2 and the hook 3 are released from an airframe. The wire 2 is delivered from a rotary drum by the wind pressure applied to the wire 2 and hook 3 in the towed state by the aircraft 1. A rope 4 is stretched between expansion type stanchions 7, 8 installed on vehicles 5, 6 at the prescribed position on the ground. The aircraft 1 passes over the rope 4, and the hook 3 is hooked on the rope 4. The tensile force caused by this hooking is detected by the airframe side, and an engine is stopped when the tensile force exceeds a prescribed value.
