A recovery device according to the present invention includes: a recovery part that recovers toner and liquid developer containing carrier liquid; a recovered liquid storage part that stores the liquid developer recovered by the recovery part; a first conveyance path for conveying the liquid developer stored in the recovered liquid storage part; a second conveyance path for conveying the liquid developer stored in the recovered liquid storage part; and a control part that switches between the first conveyance path and the second conveyance path to convey the liquid developer stored in the recovered liquid storage part.
