PURPOSE: To prepare a recurrent reflective coating capable reflecting each light beam from multidirectional sources respectively leading to exhibit desired marking performance, by dispersion, in a clear resin solution, of recurrent reflective sheet chips each of which being provided with a reflective layer and a stationary layer consisting of glass beads.

CONSTITUTION: Recurrent reflective sheet chips (0.1W3mm long) each of which being provided with a reflective layer and a stationary layer composed of glass beads are dispersed in a clear resin solution. Said sheet chips can be produced by cutting recurrent reflective sheets each of which is composed of a set of following layers (1) a surface protecting layer 1, (2) a stationary layer 2 consisting of glass beads 3 (3) a focusing resin layer 4 (4) a reflective layer 5, and (5) a backing layer or an adhesive layer 6 arranged in this order. The clear resin solution to be used is, e.g. an acrylic aqueous emulsion, a vinyl acetate enulsion type coating, a fluorine resin emulsion type one, etc.
