Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a recyclable pile carpet with which the recovery of only the pile yarn from a basic fabric at a high yield is possible and a method for recycling this carpet.
CONSTITUTION: The front surface on the pile yarn 3 side of the base fabric 2 of the pile carpet is formed to a smooth surface having a surface ruggedness of Rmax≤1.0mm. Only the pile yarn 2 is separated from this pile carpet and the separated pile yarn 2 is sent to a chemical recycling stage as the method for recycling.
