Abstract:
To provide an apparatus for producing a regenerated fiber with which resin powder or short fibers are efficiently separated from the produced fiber, and to provide a regenerated fiber production method.
The regenerated fiber production apparatus includes a wet stirrer J for stirring a powdery mixture of a resin powder and fibers in a liquid, a wet separator L for separating the fiber and the resin powder in a liquid based on the difference in apparent density and/or particle form between the resin powder and the fiber, and a wet filter Q for filtering the liquid containing the separated fiber with a screen Q1.
