To provide a regenerated polystyrene resin composition which has physical properties equivalent to those of a new material polystyrene resin, particularly physical properties equivalent to a new material polystyrene resin in toughness, by removing the effect of foreign materials included in a plastic residue derived from waste household electrical products.

The regenerated polystyrene resin composition according to the present invention contains 5-400 parts by mass of a resin modifying agent and 1-10 parts by mass of a thermoplastic resin composition with respect to 100 parts by mass of a waste polystyrene resin composition. The waste polystyrene resin composition includes at least a polystyrene resin and a foreign material; the resin modifying agent consists of a styrenic rubber or elastomer and a styrenic-olefinic graft copolymer; and the thermoplastic resin composition is similar to the foreign material included in the waste polystyrene resin composition and is incompatible with the waste polystyrene resin composition.
