Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively treat a polymer absorber of a used sanitation supply containing a pulp fiber and the polymer absorber, and effectively recover the pulp fiber from the used sanitation supply.SOLUTION: A method for treating a polymer absorber includes a process for decomposing the polymer absorber with ozone water to reduce molecular weight and solubilize the same, and a process in which the polymer absorber is dissolved in the ozone water and discharged together with the ozone water. The method for recovering a pulp fiber includes the process for decomposing the polymer absorber with ozone water to reduce molecular weight and solubilize the same, the process in which the polymer absorber is dissolved in the ozone water and discharged together with the ozone water, and a process for recovering the pulp fiber which is a residue of a sanitation supply.SELECTED DRAWING: None
