Abstract:
To provide a method for crushing and sorting car waste produced from used cars and separating and recovering high purity iron from copper-containing material including small motors for recycling.
In the method for recycling car waste, the car waste is crushed and sorted to recover iron, non-ferrous material and dust mainly containing resin. After crushing the car waste, the copper-containing material including the small motors is sorted from crushed iron by sieving with mesh smaller than the gaps of a shredder used for the crushing.
